Dani Zanoni

Bio

Meet North Jersey indie pop singer-songwriter Dani Zanoni. Receiving her first guitar at age 17, Dani began to blend her vocal melodies with accompaniment, leading to her official recording journey with her debut single "Facing Reality" in 2017. This set the stage for subsequent releases like "Rabbit Hole" and "Mean It," each contributing to the formation of her distinctive musical identity.

From the introspective pages of "dear diary" entries and the early crafting of lyrics, Zanoni has always harbored a passion for performance. Inspired by Kelly Clarkson's captivating victory on American Idol and Disney Channel icons such as Hilary Duff and Camp Rock, she began vocal lessons in elementary school, finding inspiration in the relatable personas of artists like Sara Bareilles, Colbie Caillat, and Carole King.

As a dedicated student of Music Industry and Performance at Ramapo College of New Jersey, Dani honed her skills under the guidance of mentors like Zuke Smith, Lisa Lutter, and Julie Miles. Her artistic pursuits expanded beyond local stages, including performing the National Anthem at her college graduation in 2019 at Newark's Prudential Center, opening for acclaimed blues artist Katie Henry, and performing at a sold-out Les Paul Showcase. Dani Zanoni's journey expanded globally with a memorable performance for the King of Ghana in 2017 with her college choir.

Dani's electrifying live performances showcase her impressive vocals and dynamic energy, whether she's performing solo, as half of the duo, DnA, or leading the charge with her band, Dani Zanoni & Co. She delivers an eclectic mix of originals and covers spanning the decades from the '60s to today, captivating audiences with her versatile repertoire.

Beyond her musical endeavors, Dani's exploration extends to culinary delights, chronicled on her Instagram account, @eats4thesoul. An advocate for causes like Mental Health Awareness, ME/CFS, and supporting Adopt Don't Shop/No-Kill Animal Shelters/Animal Rescues, Dani's compassionate spirit shines both in her artistry and personal life. Dani is also a dedicated vocal coach, offering private lessons to aspiring singers, where she nurtures talent and shares her expertise.

In early 2024, Dani unveiled her debut EP, 20 Something, featuring five tracks that delve into the challenges and self-discovery of navigating your twenties. With over 100,000 streams and 32,500 YouTube views, Dani's indie pop singer-songwriter tunes reflect a soulful vulnerability. Rooted in raw lyricism and honest delivery, Dani Zanoni aspires to be a relatable voice for others, utilizing her music as a therapeutic outlet to connect and offer listeners a sense of belonging, mirroring the profound impact music has had on her own life.
