Hello! - 8/8/19

Hi everyone!

I’m sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted a blog on here. Lots of things have been occupying my time, so this blog sort of fell to the bottom of the list. I really do want to start writing on here again though, so setting that as a new goal of mine!

Just thought I would update you all on what’s happened over the last year…

I was interning at Fearless Records in their digital marketing department in NYC this past winter/spring…it was such an incredible experience and really help me to realize digital marketing as another passion of mine. I recently graduated from college - had the honor of singing the National Anthem in Prudential Center at my commencement ceremony…so that was amazing. Since graduation, I’ve been playing a lot of gigs with Alex, I took a trip to Arizona, and I just recently started a job as Digital Content Manager for the incredible and wonderful Zuketunes.

As for songwriting…I am constantly writing, and am in the process of a few things like a music video and NEW MUSIC…so keep your eyes and ears out. :) Really excited for the things to come, and I hope you all are too! Thank you for your continued love and support, it means the world.

"Carry On" - 9/10/17

With everything going on in this world right now, and everything we have to deal with in life, I figured this was an important time to shed a little light. I wrote “Carry On" about getting through the hard times - especially when they happen so suddenly and unexpectedly. I wrote this to remind everyone (especially myself) in hard times to take a deep breath, notice the good around you, and remember to believe that everything is going to be okay.

Sending my love and thoughts to everyone who's going through a difficult time. I'm hoping this song can be a ray of sunshine to whoever may need it. Please remember to never give up on your battles.

"Maybe" - 8/13/17

Life puts so many pressures and decisions on us, and everyone's are different. But, along with that seems to always come the people who want to decide your life for you, make your decisions for you, etc. This song "Maybe", I wrote about wanting to get away from all that stress, worrying about making the "perfect" impressions, and feeling like you have to do things in life to please others instead of yourself. Sadly we can't get away from life's pressures as easily as we'd like. Instead, we just have to remember the importance of making our own decisions. Don't dwell on your fear of what others may think-do what makes YOU happy. Live a life that you love, live with joy, take care of yourself and be your own person.

"Got Me" - 6/4/17

I think I can safely say that most of us have had their heart broken or have been let down by someone at least once in our lives. Whether it was by a significant other, a friend, a family member or even a stranger. I wouldn't describe “Got Me” as a breakup song necessarily, but more as how people can disappoint you, lead you on, and make you feel like a fool for believing them. The inspiration for this song came to me on a night when I was thinking about how some people will just use you to get what they want, not caring about who they hurt in the process. They'll say things you want to hear just to make you happy, but wont mean it. Communication is key, and so many people get hurt because of the lack of it or the lack of truth behind it. We all need to learn to stop with the lies and lack of communication and start being more honest and upfront with how we feel.

"Facing Reality" - 5/10/17

Growing up and living with anxiety has always made my life a challenge, but I found my strength in what I love most - music. Facing the reality of my anxieties will always be a daily struggle for me, but writing and performing music is a huge part of what gets me through. "Facing Reality" is a song I wrote that describes my story and holds a special place in my heart. I really feel that this song is something everyone can relate to in their own way. With that said, I'm VERY excited to share this song with all of you. Enjoy!! ❤
